Niranjan Sridhar

Niranjan Sridhar is a highly experienced professional in the field of machine learning and research, currently serving as Staff ML Researcher at Eight Sleep since February 2024. Prior to this role, Niranjan was the Machine Learning Research Lead at Verily, where responsibilities included leading AI research initiatives to enhance product offerings, focusing on generative AI in drug design, and overseeing projects in sleep research that resulted in published work in Nature Digital Medicine. Niranjan's earlier experience includes positions at Google as a Quantitative Analyst, where predictive modeling for user reputation was developed, and as a Research Assistant at the University of Virginia, contributing to theoretical research in quantum optics. Additionally, Niranjan co-founded Laugh Out Loud Ventures, successfully scaling the company from two students to fifty employees while serving major clients and engaging a vast audience. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Virginia and a BTech in Engineering Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
