Ravindu Sirimanne

Ravindu Sirimanne began their career in 2012 as a Software Developer at Texonic Infomation Systems (Pvt) Ltd, where they were responsible for designing the system architecture and preparing database backup plans and schedules. In 2015, they moved to Strategic Partnership Solutions (Pvt) Limited as an Application Support Engineer, where they were responsible for system installation and configuration, gathering and analyzing functional and non-functional requirements, and analyzing and designing system architecture. In 2016, they joined Maytech Technologies - Sri Lanka as a DevOps Engineer, where they worked on Tomcat, PostgreSQL, GIT-HUB and cloud servers, and was responsible for installation, configuration and functional testing of Openbravo ERP system, as well as handle deployments. In 2017, they moved to Inova IT Systems as a DevOps Engineer, where they were responsible for analyzing the business process to identify the client's requirement and translating it into innovative solutions, identifying errors, bugs and bottlenecks in CRM systems and providing technical support for solving complex programming tasks, and being responsible for accuracy and performance of CRM systems including maintain coding standards, code debugging, unit and integration testing, system security designing and system load balancing. Finally, in 2022, they joined EIGHT25MEDIA as a Senior DevOps Engineer, where they were responsible for maintaining more than 20 enterprise-level websites and patching updates.

Ravindu Sirimanne has a comprehensive educational background. Ravindu completed a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from SLIIT in 2016, a Professional qualification in Network and System Administration/Administrator in Linux from OpenArc in 2013, a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Information Technology from SLIIT in 2011, and an Advanced Level in Mathematics from Ananda College in 2008. Ravindu also holds certifications from LinkedIn for Python (Programming Language), Amazon Web Services (AWS), Bash, Linux, MongoDB, and WordPress assessments, as well as from Amazon Web Services for AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate and Pearson for Pearson PTE.
