Khairul Afiq

Khairul Afiq has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Khairul started their career as a Banquet Service Assistant at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre in 2014, where they worked until 2016. In 2017, Khairul worked as a Graphic Designer at both 360 Communications Pte Ltd and Wantedly Singapore, with short-term roles in both companies. Khairul then joined Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) in 2018 for National Service, serving until 2020. From 2017 to 2021, Khairul worked as a Graphic Designer at various companies, including Eight Inc., where they collaborated with cross-functional teams to design digital experiences and create visually engaging designs for websites and mobile applications. Currently, Khairul holds the position of Digital Experience Designer at Eight Inc., where they continue to contribute to the design and user experience of digital platforms.

Khairul Afiq's education history begins with their primary education at Yio Chu Kang Primary School from 2004 to 2009, where they obtained their PSLE certification. Khairul then attended Xinmin Secondary School from 2010 to 2014 and obtained their GCE 'O' Levels certification. Following their secondary education, Khairul Afiq pursued a diploma in Graphic Communications at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, which they completed in 2018.

After completing their diploma, Khairul Afiq furthered their education at the University of Central Lancashire, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Design & Media with a focus on Graphic Communications. Their time at the university is ongoing, with an anticipated completion date of 2021.

In addition to their academic achievements, Khairul Afiq has obtained several additional certifications. In 2018, they completed the "Communicate and Relate Effectively at the Workplace" and "Work in a Team" certifications from SkillsFuture SG. In 2019, they obtained certifications in "Security Operations," "Operate Basic Security Equipment," and "Recognise Terrorist Threats" from the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF).
