Katherine Hodkinson has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Katherine is currently working at EIKON Group as the Vice President of Global Localisation Operations. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Subtitling Operations at EIKON Group and also worked as a Subtitling Project Lead.

Before joining EIKON Group, Katherine worked at BTI Studios for many years. Their roles at BTI Studios included Global Director of Subtitling, where they were responsible for developing strategy, overseeing subtitling product quality, and improving operational efficiency across multinational subtitling locations. Katherine was also a key player in the merger process between BTI Studios and Iyuno Media Group. Additionally, they held the positions of Director of Subtitling Operations, Account Director, and Client Manager.

Prior to their time at BTI Studios, Katherine worked at PR Newswire as a Media Researcher and at Guides de voyage Ulysse as an Editorial & Retail Assistant.

Katherine Hodkinson completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in French and Spanish at The University of Sheffield from 1997 to 2001. Katherine then pursued further education at the University of Leeds, where they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Applied Translation Studies from 2002 to 2003. In addition to their academic qualifications, Katherine Hodkinson has recently obtained several certifications, including "Social Media Marketing: Strategy and Optimization," "Agile Foundations," "Agile at Work: Building Your Agile Team," and "Transitioning from Waterfall to Agile Project Management," all from LinkedIn, in 2021.
