Asha Sankar Ramalaxmi

Asha Sankar Ramalaxmi has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and research. They are currently working as a Software Engineer at Eikon Therapeutics, where they collaborate with various teams to develop software pipelines for data and metadata flow, instrument communication, and biological analysis. Prior to this, Asha worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota and contributed to research projects. They also served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Computational Visual Neuroscience Laboratory at CMRR, where they led a team and developed NSD Face-Word Annotations. Asha has experience as a Research Assistant at Nanyang Technological University, where they developed an online neurofeedback system for brain-computer interface applications. Additionally, they have worked as a Member at Spider, R&D club of NIT Trichy, where they worked on designing a Piezo Harvester circuit and assisted with club management and project development. Asha also gained research experience as a Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, where they analyzed and developed an Artificial Neural Network model in the field of Computational Neuroscience.

Asha Sankar Ramalaxmi has a Master's degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, which they obtained between 2018 and 2020. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli from 2014 to 2018.

Asha'seducation journey began at Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan Senior Secondary School, where they studied from 1999 to 2014, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for this period.
