Jan Grøndal

Jan Grøndal is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the food science and technology sector. Currently serving as CEO and VP of Technology & Manufacturing at Einar Willumsen since February 2003, Jan also holds the position of Chairman of the Board at Dansk Flavour Organisation since January 2008. Previous roles include Application Manager at CP Kelco, Hercules/Copenhagen Pectin, and Biochemist at Lundbeck, complemented by a project management role at Carlsberg. Jan's academic credentials include an MBA from AVT Business School, a Ph.D. in Food Science and Technology from the University of Copenhagen, and an Industrial Ph.D. in Food Technology. Einar Willumsen is a modern mid-sized international flavour house with own in-house analytics, flavour creation, and production facilities for flavourings and compounds. We employ around 100 people and sell our products primarily in Europe, Middle East and Asia. The company was founded by Einar Willumsen in 1901, and our Swedish subsidiary was founded in 1904.
