Brenda Bakker

Brenda Bakker is currently an Onderzoeksassistent at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, involved in the PhD project ‘Charge Your Brainzzz’, focusing on data collection, analysis, and recruitment material design. Brenda also serves as a VU-Ambassadeur, guiding prospective students during open days, and has experience as a student-assistant and mentor for the History bachelor's program. Additional roles include Eindexamentrainer Geschiedenis at Eindsprint, Eindredactie at CODEX Historiae, and sales associate at Lidl Nederland. Brenda has been active in the UNESCO Youth Committee and has served as a student coach and PAL student at Chr. Scholengemeenschap Buitenveldert. Leadership experience includes chairing the Pedagogiekcommissie for the VSPVU and supporting teachers as an education assistant at Volant. Currently pursuing a Master of Science in Clinical Developmental Psychology, Brenda holds multiple bachelor's degrees in Psychology, Pedagogical Sciences, and History from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
