Carlos Gómez-Sáez

Carlos Gómez-Sáez serves as the CEO of VR Payment GmbH since January 2019 and has been a Member of the Board of Directors at Wallee Group since December 2024. Additionally, Carlos holds the position of CEO at payfree GmbH since May 2021 and serves on the advisory board for Eintracht Frankfurt's EintrachtTech since October 2020. With a long-standing role as Strategic Ambassador for Culinary and Wine Excellence at Wessinger GmbH since September 2003, Carlos previously held various significant positions including CEO at CardProcess GmbH (VR Payment GmbH) from July 2014 to December 2018, General Manager at ClickandBuy Group from July 2013 to June 2014, and CEO at cogon AG from April 2010 to June 2013. Carlos was Managing Director at First Merchant Solutions GmbH and First Data from 2008 to March 2010 and from 2003 to March 2010, respectively. Carlos holds an MBA in Leadership from the German Graduate School of Management and Law, completed in 2008, and attended the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management from 1994 to 1996.
