Tamara Leigh has worked in various roles in the communications and marketing sector since 2000. In 2000, they worked as a Writer and Editor for the Gwich'in Renewable Resource Board's Gwich'in Environmental Knowledge Project. Tamara then worked as a Communications Coordinator for H.M.E. Evans & Company, Limited. in the same year. In 2001, they took on the role of Communications Officer at Natural Resources Canada. From 2004 to 2010, they held roles at the University of Alberta, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, Siena Consulting Inc., and Shiny Bird Communications. In 2012, they became a Senior Communications Strategist at the Investment Agriculture Foundation of BC. In 2018, they were appointed as a Board Member of the BC Farm Industry Review Board. Finally, in 2017, they became the CEO and Co-Founder, as well as the Chief Experience Officer and Co-Founder of EIO Diagnostics.
Tamara Leigh began their educational journey at the University of Alberta, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Drama between 1995 and 1998. Tamara then went on to pursue a Graduate Certificate in Public Relations Management from Royal Roads University between 2006 and 2007. In March 2022, they obtained a certification in Preventing Discrimination & Harassment: CA Managers 2022 from Traliant.
