Neil Deane

Neil Deane has extensive experience in technical management and network security, currently serving as Technical Manager for Security Architecture at eir evo since August 2022, where focus is on planning and delivering enterprise-grade security technology solutions. Prior to this role, Neil held the position of Network Design Principal at eir Ireland from April 2015 to July 2022, specializing in network security solutions design. Neil's earlier experience includes serving as Network Design Principal at AIB from August 2012 to March 2015, overseeing various aspects of network design, transition, and security infrastructure management. From October 1991 to August 2012, Neil worked as Senior IT Architect at EBS Limited, where responsibilities included network oversight, design, and security architecture. Neil holds a B.Sc (Hons) in Information Systems and a Diploma in Information Systems from Trinity College Dublin, as well as a Certificate in Computer Programming & Systems Analysis from Siemens/Nixdorf Center for Advanced Technology & Training.
