Emil Axelsson

Emil Axelsson is a Programvaruingenjör at Eir Insurance since October 2024, following a role as a Developer at InRule from April 2021 to November 2024, and previous development positions at Mpowered Business Solutions from September 2016 to April 2021, focusing on Haskell and DSLs for web-based BBBEE services. Emil served as an Assistant Professor at Chalmers University of Technology from January 2009 to August 2016, contributing to the RAW FP project and teaching an annual course on Introduction to Functional Programming. Emil holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Chalmers University of Technology (2002-2008) and a Civil Engineering degree in Elektroteknik from the same institution (1997-2002).
