Aziz Saif

Aziz Saif currently serves as a Senior Engineer at EirGrid Group, a position held since April 2023. Prior experience includes work as a Research Engineer with the Intelligent Grid group at the International Energy Research Centre from November 2019 to March 2023, focusing on energy community-based markets and their influence on distribution networks. Aziz has also held roles as a Research Associate at University College Dublin, where involvement in a Science Foundation Ireland project on energy storage and demand-side flexibility took place, and as a Research Analyst at EirGrid Group, specializing in frequency stability assessments. Prior academic roles include Senior Lecturer and Lecturer at Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology, covering various topics in energy conversion and power systems. Aziz's educational background encompasses two master's degrees in Electrical Power Engineering from KTH and Eindhoven University of Technology, complemented by a bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Islamic University of Technology.
