Alex Felthouse has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical and manufacturing industry. Starting in 1995 as a Project Engineer at United Biscuits, Alex then joined Eli Lilly in 1998 as a Project Management Team Leader, where they oversaw capital projects and facilities management at two different sites. In 2007, Alex joined Eisai EMEA as a Site Engineer, responsible for the construction and start-up of the company's first production facility in Europe. Alex then progressed to the role of Director of Engineering and Production Services, where they were accountable for various operations, including engineering, packaging technical, and new product introductions. Finally, Alex served as the General Manager and Managing Director at Eisai Manufacturing Limited (EML), overseeing the daily operation and strategic direction of the company's European production facility. Throughout their roles, Alex focused on ensuring safety, compliance, continuous improvement, and delivering high-quality products on time.

Alex Felthouse earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Engineering from Loughborough University between 1991 and 1994.
