Shaeed Chowdhury has a strong background in medical affairs and leadership roles in the pharmaceutical industry. Shaeed began their career at Mundipharma in 2012 as a Medical Affairs Manager, where they played a key role in launching a brand in asthma across Europe and leading pre-launch activities for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). Shaeed also collaborated with European key opinion leaders (KOLs) and affiliates to define the European commercial clinical trial strategy. Chowdhury joined Eisai EMEA in 2015 as the Oncology Medical Affairs Head for the UK and Ireland, where they strategically led medical affairs for the Oncology Business Unit and managed the oncology MSL team. Shaeed also worked closely with the Brand Director to develop medico-marketing plans for the oncology product portfolio. In 2016, Chowdhury was promoted to the position of Medical Director for the UK and Ireland, and in 2018, they became the Regional Medical Director for Northern Europe at Eisai EMEA.
Shaeed Chowdhury completed their degree in Pharmacy at the University of Bradford.
