Shyamala Prakash

Shyamala Prakash is an accomplished Scientific R&D IT Consultant with extensive experience in software development and project management. Since joining Eisai US in November 2008, Shyamala has played a key role in designing, developing, and deploying scientific software, while also leading requirements gathering and business analysis efforts to align product strategies with organizational goals. Previous positions include Senior Science Applications Developer at Eisai, where significant cost savings were achieved through efficient resource utilization, and Project Manager at Daedalus Software, overseeing the development of a bio-sample management system. Earlier career roles include Web Applications Manager at MIT Sloan School of Management and Senior Software Engineer at Sony Electronics, with foundational experience as a Software Engineer at Lexa Software. Shyamala holds an M.E. in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Science, a Full Stack Development Nanodegree from Udacity, and a Product Management Certification from Product School, along with a B.S. in Physics from Women's Christian College, Chennai.
