Yan (Helen) Hu, PhD, currently serves as the Director of Strategic Medical Communication in Global Medical Affairs at Eisai US, a position held since 2024, following a prior role as Associate Director in the same department from 2021 to 2023. Prior to joining Eisai, Yan held various leadership positions at C2N Diagnostics from 2010 to 2021, including Director of Technologies and Business Development, focusing on the development and marketing of diagnostic tests for Alzheimer's, and Director of Immunoassays, overseeing therapeutic development for tauopathies. Earlier experience includes positions as Principal Scientist and Senior Research Associate at Genentech, as well as a Postdoctoral scholar at Washington University School of Medicine, specializing in neurodegenerative disease research. Yan holds a PhD in Molecular Genetics from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Peking University.
