Katie Taylor

Eisenhower Fellow at Eisenhower Fellowships

Katie Taylor is an experienced professional currently serving as an Eisenhower Fellow at Eisenhower Fellowships since April 2019 and as Deputy Director of the Community Safety Division at the Department of Justice since October 2018. Prior to these roles, Katie was involved with the Northern Ireland Civil Service, holding positions such as Head of Fresh Start Implementation and Programme Manager, and also worked at Queen's University Belfast as an International Student Assistant and Teaching Assistant, providing comprehensive teaching and research support in various undergraduate modules. Katie holds a Doctor of Philosophy from Queen's University Belfast and has degrees in Violence, Terrorism and Security from both Queen’s University Belfast and King’s College London, where the focus was on intricate themes of civil society and minority groups. Early career experience includes a role in customer accounts at Diesel Card Ireland, showcasing a foundation in customer service and sales.
