Kourosh Moshiri

Kourosh Moshiri, MD, MHA, FACP, AGSF, CMD, HMDC, FACCWS has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Kourosh is currently serving as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of California, Riverside School of Medicine. Kourosh is also an Associate Program Director in the Geriatric Medicine Fellowship Program and a Core Faculty member in the Internal Medicine residency at Eisenhower Health. Prior to this, they worked at Kindred Healthcare as an Attending Physician in Geriatrics, Hospice, and Palliative Care Medicine. Kourosh also held the role of Attending Physician in Internal Medicine and Geriatrics. At Kaiser Permanente, they served as a Core Faculty Physician in the Geriatric Medicine Fellowship Program, where they were responsible for SNF attending physician duties and played a role as a physician liaison and MedTAC champion in the Department of Geriatrics and LTC. Kourosh gained valuable experience at Montefiore Health System during their time as an Internal Medicine Resident and Geriatric Medicine Fellow. Dr. Moshiri started their career as an Internal Medicine Intern at PRINCE GEORGE'S HOSPITAL CENTER.

Kourosh Moshiri, MD, MHA, FACP, AGSF, CMD, HMDC, FACCWS has an extensive education history. Kourosh obtained a High School Diploma from the National Organization for Development of Exceptional Talents (Sampad) and a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Tehran University of Medical Sciences. Kourosh then pursued a Doctor of Medicine - MD degree in the Geriatrics Fellowship program at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Additionally, they completed an Internal Medicine Residency Program at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Recently, they have been pursuing a Master's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from the University of Southern California, which they are expected to complete in 2023. Along with their education, they have obtained various certifications including a Master in Healthcare Administration from the University of Southern California, Fellow of the American Geriatric Society, Hospice Medical Director Certified (HMDC), Certified Medical Director in Long Term Care (CMD), Diplomate of the American Board of Wound Medicine and Surgery, Fellow of the American College of Medicine (FACP), Fellow of the American College of Clinical Wound Specialists (FACCWS), and certification in Geriatric Medicine and Internal Medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine.
