Lloyd Shigenaga

Lloyd Shigenaga has extensive experience in laboratory management, currently serving as the Laboratory Operations Manager at Eisenhower Medical Center since January 1991. In this role, Lloyd oversees all clinical areas of the lab, ensuring compliance with staffing budgets and evaluating new procedures and instruments. Prior positions include Hematology Supervisor at Desert Hospital and Sutter General Hospital, as well as staff scientist roles. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Biological Science from California State University-Sacramento and an Associate of Arts in Biology from American River College. Lloyd completed a one-year internship at Desert Hospital, qualifying to take the California State Board exam for Clinical Laboratory Science.
