Daniel Michel

Daniel Michel 🇪🇺 🇫🇷 has extensive experience in the fields of venture capital and finance. Daniel has worked in various leadership roles, including as the Head of Access to Finance at EIT Digital, where they coordinated a team of venture capital experts across multiple European countries. In this role, they supported high-growth companies in their fundraising efforts, helping them secure substantial investments. Prior to this, Daniel served as the Head of Fundraising at Inria, where they focused on technology transfer and venture capital. Daniel also worked as a Principal at Drake Star Partners and as an M&A Director at UBS. Daniel'searly career included positions as an Associate at HSBC Investment Bank and as a Project and Technical Manager at EADS.

Daniel Michel pursued their education chronologically, starting with their studies at Lycée Kléber. Daniel then attended CentraleSupélec from 1992 to 1995, specializing in Electrical Engineering. Following this, they studied at Imperial College London where they obtained a Master's degree in Communications & Signal Processing from 1994 to 1995. In 1996 and 1997, they attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Artificial Intelligence laboratory. Finally, they completed an MBA in Management - Finance at INSEAD in the year 2000.
