Dr. Daniel Auriel is an experienced professional with a diverse background in investment, innovation, and academic roles. Currently serving as the Head of Growth Services and Access to Finance for the DACH region at EIT Digital since May 2019, Dr. Auriel focuses on supporting DeepTech scaleups in various digital sectors and facilitating fundraising rounds for high-growth digital companies. Previous roles include serving as an Angel Investor and Advisor at OPPAR, a Venture Partner at Brightlands Innovation Factory, and a Lecturer at the University of Maryland, where the emphasis was on Change Management. With experience as an Investment Manager at Capricorn Partners and in innovation and business development roles at Stora Enso and Bayer Technology Services, Dr. Auriel has a solid foundation in both technical and business management, complemented by educational qualifications including a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry and an MBA in Business Administration.
