Elena Contioso-Fleming

Elena Contioso-Fleming is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in innovation management and entrepreneurial education. Currently serving as Regional Director South at EIT Digital, Elena oversees the EIT Digital Co-Location Centre in Spain, fostering collaboration between corporations, startups, researchers, and students to drive digital transformation in Europe. Previously, Elena held roles such as General Manager at the Research Foundation of the University of Seville, where responsibilities included general management and team leadership, and Project Manager at Universidad de Sevilla, coordinating significant projects and managing grants. Other roles include co-founding a crowdfunding platform, managing accounts at an SEO startup, and a technical internship at a biomedical company. Elena holds a Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering and additional qualifications in Design Thinking and International Business Management.
