Juha Plosila

Juha Plosila is a Professor at the University of Turku, specializing in Autonomous Systems and Robotics, and has held various academic roles including Adjunct Professor in Digital Systems Design, Head of the Master's Degree Programme in Embedded Computing, and Senior University Lecturer in Embedded Computing. In addition, Juha Plosila has experience as an Assistant Professor and Research Associate in Digital and Computer Systems and Electronics and Communication Technology. Since September 2012, Juha Plosila also serves as the Head of the EIT Digital Master's Programme in Embedded Systems. Juha Plosila has contributed as a Visiting Professor at Fudan University on multiple occasions and was an Associate Editor for the International Journal of Embedded and Real-Time Communication Systems. An Academy Research Fellow at the Academy of Finland from 2006 to 2011, expertise includes system-on-chip and network-on-chip architectures and 3D integrated systems. Juha Plosila earned a Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Electronics and Communication Technology from the University of Turku in 1999 and 1993, respectively.
