Marc Butterly

Marc Butterly has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Marc is currently working at EIT Health as the Business Creation Lead for Ireland and the UK, where they support health tech and life sciences companies. Marc also serves as a Mentor and Advisor at Techstars. In the past, they founded and served as the Director of Marketmaker Software, a sports betting technology company, and Ranesys.com, a Dev/Ops contractor. Marc also worked as a Contractor - Digital Project Manager at Beacon Hospital and as the Country Manager at Sorsix. Marc co-founded and was the Managing Director of Investnet Healthcare, a company that focused on online marketing automation, and co-founded Oddsfutures.com, a live sports bet trading exchange. Marc was also the Founder and Managing Director of First Tuesday, a dotcom start-up investment business, and the Founder and Director of DV4, a digital media services company. Overall, Marc has extensive experience in the health tech, sports betting, software development, and digital media industries.

Marc Butterly completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies, and Humanities from Trinity College Dublin between 1991 and 1996. Prior to that, they attended Gonzaga College SJ from 1981 to 1990, although the degree and field of study are unspecified. In 2020, they pursued further education in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from DCM Learning and obtained Agile Certified Scrum Master certification from Scrum.org, specializing in Agile Frameworks.
