Joseba Barandiaran

Joseba Barandiaran is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in finance and economics. Currently serving as the Director of Financial Planning, Sustainability and Providers at LABORAL Kutxa since February 2022, Barandiaran has also been a Radio and TV Columnist for EITB since 1996, providing economic news commentary. In addition, Barandiaran is a Vice President and member of the Governing Council at the Colegio Vasco de Economistas since 2012. Previous roles include lecturer at Mondragon Unibertsitatea and various positions at BBVA from 1998 to 2021, where responsibilities included financial control and economic analysis. Barandiaran holds a Graduate Degree in Finance from CEMFI and an Economics Degree from Universidad del País Vasco, complemented by international studies in France.
