Maialen Goirizelaia Altuna

Maialen Goirizelaia Altuna is a dedicated academic and professional with extensive experience in communication and international relations. Currently serving as a Professor at UPV/EHU since November 2015, Maialen holds a PhD and specializes in research on transnational relations between the Basque Country and Basque communities in the United States. Additional roles include a collaborator for EITB since September 2020 and prior positions as a reporter and editor within the same organization. Maialen's international experience includes a Visiting Research Fellowship at Harvard University and a research stay at Boise State University.
