Rafa Mungia Etxabe

Rafa Mungia Etxabe is an experienced journalist and communications professional, currently serving as a Sports Journalist at EITB since June 2015. Prior to this role, Rafa held the position of Communication and Marketing Director for BASQUE TEAM, focusing on promotional campaigns for top athletes in the Basque region from June 2008 to June 2015. Rafa initially worked as a Sports Editor for ETB from 1998 to 2008 and contributed to the implementation of Caja Laboral's products in university information points from 2007 to 2008. Rafa possesses a Master's degree in Audiovisual, Business, and Institutional Communication from the University of Deusto, along with additional qualifications in social media and digital journalism. Educational background includes a degree in Information Sciences from the University of the Basque Country, completed in 1998.
