Britt West is the Vice President, General Manager of Spirits at E. & J. Gallo Winery. Britt has over 15 years of experience in the alcohol beverage industry, including 7 years as the Founder of Plus Consulting, a growth strategy brand management, new product development and marketing consulting firm that helps beverage brands connect with consumers. Prior to that, Britt worked for Bacardi USA for 5 years, where they held various marketing and brand management positions. In 2011, Britt co-founded EPPA Sangria, the first premium entrant in the sangria category. After becoming one of the fastest growing wine brands in the industry and only 18 months in the market, EPPA was successfully sold to Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits in April, 2013.

Britt West has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Luxury Brand Management from ESSEC Business School, a MMH in Hospitality and Hotel Management from Cornell University, and a BA in Theirtory from Columbia University.

Ernest and Julio Gallo started E&J Gallo Winery in 1933. Julio, who died in 1993, was in charge of making the wine, and Ernest, who died in 2007, was responsible for selling the wine. Gallo wines include Turning Leaf, Twin Valley, Single Vineyard, Red Bicyclette and Ecco Domani. Joseph Gallo, Ernest's son, is chief executive, while a number of other family members work for the company.
