Krista Fontana, APR, currently serves as the Senior Global Corporate Communications and PR Manager at E. & J. Gallo Winery since April 2022. Previously, Krista held the position of Chief Communications, Community Engagement, and Marketing Officer at Modesto City Schools, where responsibilities included overseeing communications plans to enhance relationships with stakeholders. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Director of Global Strategic Communications at CalSTRS, Director of Communications for the California Redevelopment Association, Public Information Officer for the City of Citrus Heights, and Public Relations Director for KB Home and The Salvation Army. Krista began the career in strategic marketing within the Bernard Hodes Group, managing campaigns for major corporations. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Rhetoric and Communications with a minor in Sociology from the University of California, Davis.
