Sankalp Gulati

Sankalp Gulati is the current head of data science at Eka.Care. Sankalp has previously worked as the head of data science at Synaptic from January 2018 to March 2021. During their time at Synaptic, Gulati worked on a variety of projects, including anomaly detection for time series, time series characterisation, topic modelling, enterprise graph analysis and feed timeline development. Prior to their work at Synaptic, Gulati was a co-founder at Musicmuni Labs Private Limited from October 2016 to August 2017. There, they created technology solutions for music education and infotainment. Gulati has also worked as a research and development engineer at Aynur Labs from January 2013 to December 2014, and as a postdoctoral researcher at Universitat Pompeu Fabra from September 2011 to January 2018.

Sankalp Gulati has a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. Sankalp also has a Doctor of Philosophy in Music Information Retrieval from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, and a Master of Science in Sound and Music Computing from Universitat Pompeu Fabra. Sankalp Gulati also has various certifications from Coursera in Deep Learning Specialization, Sequence Models, Convolutional Neural Networks, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, Neural Networks and Deep Learning, and Structuring Machine Learning Projects.
