Vasanth Murukuri is a Data Scientist and an undergraduate student at IIIT Naya Raipur, specializing in AI. Currently at Eka Care, Vasanth develops AI-driven solutions to enhance healthcare accessibility in India, including a robust pipeline for parsing medical reports and the construction of "Karma," a library for evaluating Large Language Models. Vasanth's work also involves creating Automatic Speech Recognition models for diverse Indian languages and fine-tuning LLMs to address the challenges of the Indian healthcare system. Prior to their role at Eka Care, Vasanth gained experience as an AI Intern at RMIT School of Engineering, a Machine Learning Engineer at Nikola Charging, and Research Interns at both the University of Louisville and KU Leuven Faculty of Engineering Technology. Vasanth is pursuing a Bachelor of Technology in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, set to graduate in 2024.
