Damarla Taylor has a diverse range of work experience. Damarla began their career in 2004 with the United States Department of Defense, where they worked in human resources management and administration for ten years. In 2016, they transitioned to the medical field and joined Magee-Womens Hospital Of UPMC as a critical care and neonatal intensive care registered nurse until 2019. Damarla then moved to UPMC Mercy, where they served as a neonatal intensive care nurse until 2019. In 2018, Damarla Taylor joined Continuum Pediatric Nursing Services as an assistant director of nursing, a position they held until 2020. Finally, they recently started working as the regional clinical support director at eKidzCare in November 2020.
Damarla Taylor completed their Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at Indiana University of Pennsylvania from 2010 to 2015. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued further education at Capella University, where they obtained a Master's in Nursing Leadership and Administration. Damarla also holds additional certifications including NE-BC (institution unknown) and completed the Neonatal Resuscitation Program offered by the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Some medically complex children we commonly care for are diagnosed with autism, seizure disorders, cerebral palsy, cancer, congenital anomalies, tracheostomy, and ventilator dependent children.
