Noel Coutinho

Noel Coutinho is the Co-Founder & Chief Business Officer at ekincare. Noel has over 15 years of experience in the insurance and healthcare industries.

Noel started their career in 2001 as the Head of Medical Management at UnitedHealthcare India Pvt. Ltd. In 2005, they were promoted to Vice President and oversaw the company's India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh markets.

In 2007, Noel left UnitedHealthcare to join Metis Insurance Brokers Pvt. Ltd. as their Vice President of Business Development. At Metis, Noel was responsible for developing the company's Group Health, Accident, Term Life, and Overseas Travel Insurance businesses.

In 2008, Noel joined Reinsurance Group of America (RGASIPL) as their Associate Director of Individual Life & Health Insurance Services. Noel was responsible for leading a team of health insurance experts in the areas of claims, underwriting, and pricing services. Noel successfully built a strong brand image for RGASIPL in a relatively short amount of time through their excellent relationships and demonstration of industry knowledge.

In 2016, Noel left RGASIPL to start ekincare with their co-founder Kshitij Mahajan. Ekincare is a healthcare technology company that provides personalized health insights and guidance to users based on their health data.

Noel Coutinho has a MHA from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, a UND 386 - Life and Health Underwriting from the Life Office Management Association (LOMA), and an Associate from the Insurance Institute of India. Noel also has a degree from AMSH Medical College and St. John the Baptist in Thane.

Noel Coutinho reports to Kiran Kalakuntla, Co-Founder & CEO. They are on a team with Rahul Mathew Ponodath - Associate Director, Smart Cover, Vinay Pawar - COO, and Nikhil Singhi - Director, Product.
