Michael Hebert

Michael Hebert, CFA, possesses extensive experience in venture capital, holding the position of Principal at NGIF Capital from 2021 to 2025, where significant contributions include leading investments in companies such as Ionada, Ionomr, and Galatea Technologies. Previously, Michael founded and served as CEO of Hebert Financial Ltd from 2018 until its acquisition in 2024, and held the role of Executive Director at the Venture Capital Association of Alberta from 2021 to 2023. Additional experience includes involvement with Young Professionals in Energy as a Board Member and analytics roles at Wood Mackenzie. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Energy, Trade & Finance from Bayes Business School and a Bachelor of Management in Finance from The University of British Columbia.
