Annelies Aarts is a Process Engineer at EKOPAK Sustainable Water since September 2023, with prior experience as a Project Engineer at Witteveen+Bos and Design & Proposal at HydRO by Veride, focusing on wastewater reuse projects. Annelies began a career in the environmental sector at SUEZ Belgium as a Proposal Engineer and conducted research on wastewater treatment techniques at TU Delft. Annelies has also contributed to soil and water sanitation projects at Universoil and Ghent University and served in monitoring and evaluation roles for agricultural development projects at the Belgian Development Agency. Annelies holds a Master’s degree in Bio-engineering and an additional year in pedagogy from KU Leuven, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Bio-engineering.
