About us
Ektimisi is a specialized research and development consulting firm operating across the Middle East, East Africa, and Eastern Europe, with a core focus on conflict-affected and access-constrained environments. Through three integrated workstreams — Research, Capacity Building, and Construction — we support humanitarian, development, civil society, academic, research, and private sector partners with context-grounded services that respond to real operational needs. Our model is built on established local networks, regionally embedded field teams, and multidisciplinary experts with longstanding experience delivering projects in hard-to-reach and complex environments.

As an independent and multicultural firm, Ektimisi is headquartered in Türkiye and formally registered in Türkiye, Syria, and Iraq, enabling direct delivery in our primary operational countries of Iraq, Syria, and Ukraine. In other regions — including Somalia, Gaza, Lebanon, Sudan, and Libya — we operate through trusted local partners and established networks, allowing us to mobilize effectively while ensuring contextual relevance, compliance, and operational continuity. Across these settings, we help organizations access communities, generate actionable knowledge, strengthen institutional capacities, and implement tailored field-level solutions under challenging and rapidly evolving conditions.
