Matthias E.

Matthias E. is a software engineer at EKU Power Drives since July 2019, where the focus has been on the implementation of camera orientation optimization for mobile industrial plants as part of a master's thesis in collaboration with the High Performance Computing Center Stuttgart. Previous experience includes an internship at Bosch USA, developing software for video-based driver assistance systems, and a role as student staff at HLRS, where a 3D-Gizmo for a VR CAVE was implemented. As a working student at Porsche AG, Matthias E. developed a software tool for automatic analysis of vehicle battery data and was responsible for the high voltage battery management system during involvement with Greenteam Uni Stuttgart, where contributions included software and hardware development for an electric race car. Matthias E. holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechatronics from the University of Stuttgart, completed between 2012 and 2020, and has engaged in practical research involving virtual investigations of road accidents using 3D-SLAM with an RGB-D camera on autonomous drone flights.
