Ann O'Brien

Ann O'Brien is an experienced marketing and communications professional with a strong background in strategic marketing, digital marketing, media relations, and stakeholder communication. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Marketing & Communications at El Camino College since January 2018, Ann previously held the position of Marketing Communications Director at Torrance Memorial Medical Center from 1999 to 2017. Additional experience includes roles as an Account Executive at The Hoyt Organization and Assistant Account Executive at Fisher & Associates, as well as an internship at Transamerica Life Companies focused on internal communications. Ann holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from California State University, Northridge, and an Associate Degree in Journalism from El Camino College.
