Stefanie Frith

Stefanie Frith is an accomplished journalism professional with extensive experience in academia and reporting. Currently serving as a Journalism Professor and Student Media Adviser at El Camino College since August 2014, Stefanie advises student publications including eccunion.com and Warrior Life. Prior experience includes positions as Assistant Professor of Journalism at Los Angeles Pierce Community College, where oversight of the Roundup and theroundupnews occurred, and various reporting roles at The Desert Sun, USA TODAY, The Press-Enterprise, Associated Press, and Times Community Newspapers, covering topics such as public safety, city news, and the California prison system. Stefanie holds a Master’s degree in Communications from California State University, Fullerton, a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Southern California, and a Digital Brand Management Certificate from Oregon State University.
