Luis Mendez

Luis Mendez has a diverse and extensive work experience in the hospitality industry. Luis is currently serving as the Complex Director of Sales & Marketing for El Conquistador Resort & Las Casitas Village in Puerto Rico. Prior to this role, they worked as the Director of Sales & Marketing for Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, where they achieved record-breaking group sales numbers. Luis has also held positions such as Associate Director of Sales & Marketing for InterContinental Hotels Group, Corporate Director of Meetings and Incentives Sales for Karisma Hotels & Resorts, and Senior Vice President of Sales for the Puerto Rico Convention Bureau. Additionally, they have served as the Director of Sales & Marketing for InterContinental Hotels Group and La Concha, A Renaissance Resort, and as the Director of Sales & Marketing for The Ritz-Carlton San Juan Hotel, Spa & Casino. Luis started their career as the General Manager for Events Tropical, Inc. and the International Sales Manager for Westin Rio Mar Beach.

Luis Mendez obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Marketing from Universidad del Sagrado Corazón. Luis completed their education in this field from 1988 to 1991.
