Serena Fuson

Executive Assistant to the Superintendent at EL DORADO UNION HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT

Serena Fuson has been working in the field of education for many years. Serena began their career at El Dorado Union High School District, where they worked their way up to Executive Assistant to the Superintendent. In this role, they are responsible for a variety of tasks, including managing the superintendent's calendar, coordinating meetings and events, and handling communications.

Before their current position, Serena served as Interim Director of Administration for the Police Department at California State University, Sacramento. In this role, they were responsible for the day-to-day operations of the department and oversaw a team of administrators. Prior to that, they were Executive Assistant to the Chief of Police at the same university. In this role, they managed the chief's schedule, coordinated meetings and events, and handled communications.

Serena has also held positions at California State University, Sacramento in the Vice President & Chief Financial Officer's office and in the Information Resources & Technology Helpdesk. In these roles, they provided administrative support to the vice president andcoordinated the helpdesk operations.

Serena is a highly skilled administrator with many years of experience in education. Serena is well-organized and efficient, and has a proven track record of managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Serena is an excellent communicator and has a strong commitment to their work.

Serena Fuson has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from California State University-Sacramento.

They work with Chuck Palmer - Senior Director, Student Services & Innovation, Pam Bartlett - Senior Director, Student Success, and Tony DeVille - Assistant Superintendent, Human Resources. Their manager is Ron Carruth, Superintendent.
