Adam Krusi-Thom has extensive experience in the education sector. Adam currently works at EL Education as the Director of Partnerships for the West Region, where they lead a team focused on transforming schools and districts across the Western US. Adam collaborates with the national director team to shape and enhance the national program, utilizing design thinking and improvement science to promote equity and deeper learning in historically marginalized communities.
Prior to their current role, Adam worked at PBLWorks as a National Faculty member, where they contributed to the development and implementation of project-based learning practices.
Before joining EL Education and PBLWorks, Adam held various positions at Aspire Public Schools. Adam served as the Regional Director of Humanities, leading adult learning and innovation to support student achievement and agency in the Central Valley region. Additionally, Adam worked as the Academic Program Manager and Assistant Principal of Curriculum, Instruction, Assessment, & Professional Learning at Aspire Public Schools.
Adam's career also includes roles as a School Designer at EL Education, where they played a key role in transforming schools through rigorous curriculum and character development; an Instructional Coach at both Aspire Public Schools and Sierra Expeditionary Learning School; and a Consultant at Inspire: Teaching & Learning Solutions.
Furthermore, Adam has experience in international education, having worked as a Higher Diploma Leader for VSO, leading a national professor and post-secondary leader training program.
Early in their career, Adam taught courses in the teacher certification program and helped pilot and lead the Expeditionary Learning teacher preparation program at Prescott College. Adam also served as an Instructor, Teaching Assistant, and Adjunct Faculty member during their time at Prescott College.

Adam Krusi-Thom holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree in Educational and Organizational Leadership from the University of the Pacific, which they pursued from 2014 to 2024. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Education from Prescott College, attending from 2005 to 2007. Their undergraduate education was at Colgate University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English from 1997 to 2001.
