Matt Strand

Matt Strand, Ph.D. has extensive experience in the field of education, with a focus on project-based instructional design, active pedagogy, and school improvement. Matt holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Colorado State University. Matt has worked as an educator at Polaris Expeditionary Learning School since August 2001 and currently serves as the Middle School Team Leader. Additionally, Matt has experience as an English teacher at Cleburne High School and as an Adventure Trip Leader at Wilderness Treatment Center. Matt also has a Master's degree in Educational Research & Collaboration from Texas Christian University.
