Rita Milena Galeano Wadnípar

Rita Milena Galeano Wadnípar has a diverse work experience. Rita Milena worked for El Espectador from 2008 onwards, where they held the role of CIO Director of Teleinformatics. Rita Milena led the digital transformation project for El Espectador and was responsible for planning, directing, and implementing digital and print projects. Rita Milena also managed the technology platform, including infrastructure, networks, and software. In addition, they handled budget management, contract negotiations, and vendor relationships. Prior to this, they worked as an Analyst of Development and Processes for El Espectador, where they provided support to the Teleinformatics department. Rita Milena contributed to various projects and was involved in the analysis, design, and implementation of technological solutions. Before joining El Espectador, they worked at Quality Software as a Coordinator of Reports and Processes. In this role, they led the reporting department and was responsible for analyzing, designing, and creating reports using various database management tools. Rita Milena also programmed stored procedures and managed databases using PL-SQL and TOAD.

- In 2001-2006, they obtained a degree in Ingeniera de Sistemas (Systems Engineering) with a specialization in Gestión de Proyectos de Ingeniería (Engineering Project Management) from the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas.

- In 2011, they completed a specialization in Gestión de Proyectos de Ingeniería (Engineering Project Management) with a focus on Finanzas (Finance) from the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas.

- In 2022-2023, they pursued a Máster en Innovación y Emprendimiento (Master's in Innovation and Entrepreneurship) with a specialization in Innovación y tecnología de invernaderos (Greenhouse Innovation and Technology) from OBS Business School.
