El Futuro
Christa Atkinson is a skilled mental health professional with extensive experience in therapeutic practices. Currently serving as a Mental Health Therapist at El Futuro, Inc. since July 2009, Christa also contributes as a Yoga Instructor at Carrboro Yoga Company since December 2010. Prior experience includes roles as a Clinical Social Worker BieneSTAR at the Center for Child and Family Health from 2005 to 2009 and as an In-home Mental Health Therapist at Carolina Outreach, LLC from May 2006 to May 2007. Christa holds a Master of Social Work degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, earned between 2005 and 2007.
