Carole Powell is a Board Member at TCDLA since 2009 and Senior Trial Attorney at El Paso County Public Defender since August 1999. Carole also serves as the Director of Attorney Education & Development, overseeing continuing legal education programs and evaluating attorney performance. Carole was the Chairperson at the 3rd Annual Mental Health Law Conference in 2010, coordinating a seminar for over 400 professionals. Carole holds a JD from Texas Tech University School of Law and a BS in Nursing from The University of Texas at Austin.
