Carla Sofia Murguia

Carla Sofia Murguia, CPA has a diverse work experience in various accounting roles. Carla Sofia started their career at The University of Texas at El Paso, where they worked as a Research Assistant and an Undergraduate Student Assistant. Carla Sofia then joined Cuartito Azul as an Assistant Manager before transitioning to Cardenas & Elizondo as a Staff Accountant. In 2014, Carla joined SBNG, P.C. as a Tax Accountant, where they worked until 2018. Currently, they are employed at El Paso Electric Company, where they have held multiple roles, including Financial Accounting and Reporting, Financial Accounting - Senior, and currently as Financial Reporting - Principal.

Carla Sofia Murguia, CPA obtained a Master's degree in Accounting from The University of Texas at El Paso, completing their studies from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the same institution, studying from 2008 to 2012.
