Enrique Bernal

Enrique Bernal is an accomplished technology and cybersecurity leader with extensive experience in overseeing information security and technology operations. Since June 2012, Enrique has served as the Director of Technology Operations & Cybersecurity at El Paso Electric Company, where responsibilities encompass directing corporate strategies for data protection and developing comprehensive cybersecurity initiatives. Prior roles include Information Security Manager and Information Technology Operations Manager, focused on security controls and IT outsourcing operations, respectively. Before joining El Paso Electric Company, Enrique held the position of Network Services Director at Varay Systems and Vice President of Information Technology at FirstLight Federal Credit Union. Enrique holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at El Paso.
