Sergio Sosa

Sergio Sosa, PMP, serves as an Information Technology Consultant (Project Manager) at El Paso Electric Company since January 2022, focusing on IT applications and operations. Prior to this role, Sosa held multiple positions at the City of El Paso from September 2013 to December 2021, including Senior Project Manager, where responsibilities involved overseeing the Department of Information Technology Services’ Project Management Office, managing large-scale projects with citywide impact, and coordinating project activities. Earlier experience includes serving as a Project Manager and Business Systems Analyst within the same department, as well as working as an I.T. Specialist for the Tornillo Independent School District from 2007 to 2013. Sosa earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from The University of Texas at El Paso and an Associate of Arts from El Paso Community College.
