Melissa Rios

Melissa Rios is a seasoned mental health professional with a strong background in counseling and social work. Currently serving as a Mental Health Counselor at El Rancho Unified School District since August 2021, Rios previously held the position of Mental Health Specialist II- Bilingual at Stars Behavioral Health Group from June 2019 to July 2021. Rios also gained valuable experience as a School Social Work Intern at El Rancho Unified School District and a Social Work Intern at Los Angeles Southwest College during the 2017-2018 academic year. Rios holds a Master of Social Work with a focus on Child & Family Wellbeing from California State University, Long Beach (2017-2019) and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UC Santa Barbara (2010-2014).
